My daughter had a pair of white pants that she had gotten some PlayDoh on. My wife soaked the pants in OxiClean to the point where the stain was barely visible. She then pre-treated the remaining stain with a stain stick that you can apply up to 7 days before you wash. The next day, when she went to wash the pants, there were large bright blue stains on the pants. She put the pants in the wash, but the stains did not come out. I am guessing it had to be some reaction between the pre-treating stain stick and the OxyClean residue.
