I appreciate your perspective, especially since I'm not a parent myself. I find it hard to believe, for example, that high-school seniors don't know how to do their own laundry, but when I think back, I don't remember doing the laundry myself at that age. I do remember washing all my clothes by hand for a year while I lived in West Africa, however. That sure made me appreciate the convenience of a washing machine. One question, though. I can't figure out what is wrong with wearing goggles to bed. I've considered it myself to ensure that the cat doesn't "accidentally" scratch my eyes out. Would your daughter's eyes dry out or something awful if she wore them? Please let me know. You show the detergent taking away the stains after they are made, not after they have dried. Dried stains are alot harder to take out than fresh ones. Just wanted to give my 2 cents about this.
