Today is the bigest chalenge of all, cleaning the entire house after painting the walls. Today I sanitized and disinfected toys. I took toys from the kid’s toy box and play room that were plastic (not battery operated), and let them soak in hot water and 1 cup of Clorox bleach in the sink for about an hour. The rest of the toys I couldn’t soak, I used the spray bottle where it has 1/2 cup of Clorox bleach and rest water and would spray the paper towel and wipe them by hand. I waited for the sun to dry the furniture and deck rails and then I laid my laundry out on it to dry, pointless to lay clean clothes on dirty furniture and railing. I only needed a spot cleaning--but I used a bowl of water with a bit of Clorox in and just wiped things clean-much easier than getting out a mop and bucket for spot cleaning. I wore gloves and mixed together 1/2 cup of Clorox bleach and water in a spray bottle and scrubbed, disinfected, and sanitized the counters in my kitchen and outside of my appliances. The litte toys are hard to wipe so I throw them in a bucket fiiled with hot water mixed with clorox, and the job is done. I know maybe this isn't the best use for it, but I used a tiny bit in my dishwater to clean around my cuticles as i wash the dishes to try and get the ink gone. My hands and dishes are clean again!! Mopped with standard kitchen mop, and let air dry. Looked very shiny when I finished!
