I'm also going to use Clorox to disinfect planters that I am emptying out for the winter. That way, in Spring, they'll be ready for replanting. Let it set for awhile then run cold water. Smells great. I use a drop of it a vase full of water because I've heard plants last longer that way! Of course the bleach is also great in the laundry! It kills all the germs and keeps my family safer. Also, never thought about using Clorox for the red stains from red sauce in the plastic containers - thanks for the great ideas! I try to do it at least once a month. Fri, 28 Oct 2011 10:05:19 -0700 Shannon Schulte http://www.europeanopticalsociety.org/laugh/mom-moments/day-7-victory/#comment-364
