One Topical Meeting is the 3rd of the EOS Topical Meeting Series on Optical Microsystems. Former meetings took place in Capri in 2005 and 2007. The event is organized in collaboration with the Italian Society of Optics and Photonics (SIOF), the Italian Branch of EOS.
The second Topical Meeting is the 1st EOS Topical Meeting on Lasers. The conference focus on nowel development of lasers, particularly in the areas of semiconductor lasers, quantum dot lasers, fiber lasers and diode pumped solid state lasers. It will also contain sessions on nonlinear frequency conversion, parametric devices, utrafast lasers and laser materials and nonlinear optics as main topics. The event is organized in collaboration with the Swedish Optical Society (SOS), the Swedish Branch of EOS.
Abstract submission
The deadline for submission of abstracts is 30 April 2009. Abstracts shall only be submitted online via this website. uthors are requested to submit an abstract of one page. The EOS guidelines for abstracts can be downloaded at http://www.myeos.org/files/EOSabstractguidelines_capri.pdf.
Contributions will be accepted for oral and poster presentation. Please indicate preference. All accepted contributions are to be published in the EOS Topical Meeting Digest which will be available at the beginning of the meeting. All authors are requested to register for the meeting separately from abstract submission.
