Removing Stains
Crayons
Your child has a new canvas – his pants.
On the go
Use a paper napkin or towel to carefully absorb as much of the melted crayon as you can, blotting gently to avoid rubbing it further into the fabric.
At home
Scrape away as much crayon as possible with a dull knife. Place a clean, non-waxy, brown paper grocery or lunch bag over spot, and gently press with a dry iron on its lowest setting. You should see dark brown splotches appear on the bag as the crayon is absorbed. Reposition a fresh part of the bag over the spot and gently press again with the iron. Repeat until no more crayon absorbs onto the bag. Pretreat any remaining stain by directly applying Clorox 2® Stain Fighter & Color Booster. Wait 3-5 minutes, then wash in the hottest water recommended on the care label with detergent and Clorox 2® product. Air dry (keep crayon stains out of the dryer!) and check for success. Repeat if necessary.
