Removing egg stains from whites

On the go

Scrape or brush off excess egg particles, and rinse out the stain with cold water.

At home 

Hot water can cook the egg protein and set the stain, so presoak garment in cold water for at least 30 minutes with a laundry detergent that contains enzymes. Then wash as usual with your favorite detergent in cool water. Add Clorox® Regular-Bleach₁, concentrated for whites. Repeat as needed, and check for success before machine drying.
