Removing gum stains from whites
On the go
Rub with ice and carefully scrape away any excess gum as soon as possible.
At home
Once you get home, apply a dry cleaning solvent to help release the remaining gum from the garment’s fibers. Before washing, rub dish soap or laundry detergent directly into stain. Launder immediately on the hottest recommended water setting. Tip: Gum residue may find its way onto other items of clothing, so remove as much as possible before washing.
