EOS Board elections 2008

Your membership of your National Society automatically makes you a voting member of the European Optical Society (EOS).

If you are unsure whether you are already registered as an EOS member, please do not hesitate to contact the EOS Office at info@myeos.org mentioning your contact details and your national optical society.

Important: As a member of a national optical society of the EOS, you are automatically an individual or associate member of EOS.

This year (2008) is an election year for the EOS Board and there are five seats to be filled.

For the third time the EOS Board elections are carried out exclusively electronic. There are five vacancies to be filled on the EOS Board this year. At the beginning of June you will receive a message from 'election@myeos.org' that includes a hyperlink to the election website and your login information for the voting system.

In the meantime, please inform yourself about the candidates for the EOS Board.

  The European Optical Society has up to now about 5000 individual members who are elective. Our membership consists of 8 Branches (France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland and IOP – the Optical Group of the Institute of Physics, the UK and Ireland Branch), 10 Affiliated Societies (Belgian Committee of Optics, Czech and Slovak Republic, Denmark, Finland, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, PromOptica, Romania, Spain). Please take advantage of the opportunity to vote!
