1. Pet peeves: slow talkers and slow walkers
2. I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada though you won’t hear much of a Canadian accent unless you ask me to say, "Let’s go out and about in a boat”
3. I don’t get what the big deal is with eggnog
4. Before a series of childhood allergy shots, I used to be allergic to watermelons and horses…so horseback-riding at a summer picnic was a really bad idea
5. I am a germaphobe and a chronic handwasher
6. I am terrible at sports but won a cut-throat hula-hooping competition at a local mall when I was 23. The 8-year old came in 2nd place. Boo-yah!
7. I am a big fan and supporter of public libraries--even before I had kids.
8. Totally freakish behavior: I eat most salty snacks with a spoon because I don’t like getting snack dust on my fingers
9. I think I am the only Asian who is bad at math
10. I have calves of steel from having mastered balancing without touching anything for entire subway rides (because see #5 above)
11. I can speak English, Cantonese, modest French, a bit of German and Pig Latin
12. I feel guilty for being a working mom but feel more guilty for not wanting to be a Stay-At-Home mom

14. I haven’t changed my hairstyle since I was born (except getting rid of my bangs when I was 23 years old)
15. Whenever I enter a hotel room, I rush to see what kind of toiletries are in the bathroom

17. I love all-you-can-eat-buffets -- and love them even more if I'm wearing elastic-waist pants
18. I used to have a pig-themed collection of knickknacks til I was 10, but people kept giving me pig-themed things til I was 20.
19. My favorite Clorox product is Clorox Disinfecting Wipes
20. My Dad is my hero
21. I purposefully avoid coffee, not for health reasons, but so that when I drink it, the caffeine's drug properties will actually work and keep me awake
22. One of my favorite summer jobs was tax collection while working for Revenue Canada -- The US-equivalent of the IRS
23. I don’t know how to swim
24. My favorite drink is a combination of clam and tomato juice. Don’t be a hater.
25. I make a mean Corn and Crab Chowder but can never boil an egg the way I want to
26.I name scary-looking pieces of art to make them seem less spooky (eg: this creepy mask I bought in Thailand is called “Sheldon”)
27. I’ve worked and lived in 4 countries and 7 cities
28. I love feta cheese (and swear Bulgarian feta cheese is the best!)
29. Digital pet peeve: people who keep their sound on when typing on their iphone keyboard.
30. I know what a tuque is
