Hi! I'm Tiffany. When I'm not chasing my son around for diaper changes, convincing my daughter not to wear goggles to bed, or trying to get unidentified stains out of my kids' clothes, I work in the marketing department at Clorox.

The Power of ONE
Last year, I wrote about Clorox’s support of the Children’s Health Fund – an organization whose mission is providing health care to the nation’s most medically underserved children and their families. Clorox still supports CHF today, and our guest blogger, Dawn Jackson Blatner, a dietitian and USAToday.com, blogger tells you how the power of one simple healthy change in your life can make a difference not only for you, but also for kids in need.

Selling Toilet Cleaner: A Glamorous Life
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to market toilets? Working at Clorox, I have had the opportunity to work on a wide range of cleaning products including our line of Clorox ToiletBowl Cleaners. Yes, toilet cleaners. I’ve learned about how these cleaners are made, manufactured and I’ve probably heard more about toilets than I’ve ever wanted to know. Throughout these discussions, I’ve come across some pretty interesting toilet facts, including some statistics that surprised me that I wanted to share with you…

3 Reasons I Love Spring Cleaning
Spring cleaning can be as much fun as getting an annual physical exam. The scrubbing, the elbow grease and knowing that--with two young kids in the house-- all that “Clean” will be short-lived…well, it isn’t exactly “good times.” Spring Cleaning isn’t my favorite task, but like most things, there can usually be some parts to love...

A Kick in My Pants to Re-think Cleaning
We’ve all done it. An apple slice, baby bottle, or in my household, a whole chicken leg somehow finds itself on the floor under my dining table and what do I do? I pick it up, brush it off, maybe blow on it a couple times (what I’m blowing off, I am not exactly sure…) but I place it back on my kid’s plate, believing that all is well. After all, 5-second rule, right? Well, it turns out that the “go-to” 5-second rule (or any variation you may use in your household) may be as mythical as a child with clean hands. Find out what the experts have to say about the 5-second rule and see why I’m re-evaluating my cleaning practices.

"Speed-Dating" for Moms
There’s a hospital in Chicago where they have speed-dating for doctors. No, not for doctors who are looking for dates; for patients who are looking for a doctor. Like at a regular speed-dating event, patients move from doctor to doctor, asking questions, in the quest for their perfect match in an OB/GYN or General Practitioner. It’s supposed to be a new way for patients to find doctors that they’re comfortable with, and for doctors to ensure meaningful versus transactional relationships with their patients.
As Mother’s Day approaches, this event made me wonder: if you could speed-date to find your perfect doctor, what if you could speed-date to find your perfect kid? The thought got my husband and I laughing. And then, fantasizing…

I SWEAR, My Kid is NOT Infectious!
Working at Clorox, I always have cold and flu season at the top of my mind. After all, I am a self-proclaimed germaphobe and happily sit in my office surrounded by canisters of Clorox Disinfecting Wipes. I pride myself on doing everything I can to help keep my family from getting the flu and spreading germs to others. Yet despite my best efforts to be a courteous mom, my 4-year old daughter Elle unwittingly foils my intentions.

Kids: Embarrassing For You and Me.
When I was preparing to be a mom, I expected the joys and the challenges, but I didn’t count on all the embarrassment. Being a parent demands patience, resilience, and a large capacity for mortification. Then, in the following years came more moments that led to embarrassment... See why I quickly learned that parenting requires a sense of humor or else acknowledgement that motherhood sometimes involves suffering minor indignities at the hands of our children.

Discussing Japan with My Kids…or Not?
It's been about a month since the horrific earthquake, tsunami and subsequent devastation in Japan. Rather than sharing the devastating news with my children, I tried to use the events in Japan to have some positive impact for my family. A mom’s instinct is to protect her family, and so while I can’t shield them from the “big” things like a tsunami, I am trying my best to protect them by doing some smaller things.
