Tiffany, Clorox

Hi! I'm Tiffany. When I'm not chasing my son around for diaper changes, convincing my daughter not to wear goggles to bed, or trying to get unidentified stains out of my kids' clothes, I work in the marketing department at Clorox.

BlogHer 2012 Recap

By Whitney Wingerd, Mommies With Style

The last few days have been an exciting whirlwind for me! I was without my kids in New York City, attending the annual BlogHer conference.  BlogHer has hosted the annual conference since 2005 and this year’s conference brought more than 6,000 attendees to New York for dozens of sessions where bloggers and brands came together to educate and engage in interesting dialogues.  Some of the highlights included keynotes from both Katie Couric and Martha Stewart.

I’ve been blogging for eight years and this was my fourth BlogHer experience. It’s not only a business weekend for me but a fun way to get together and reconnect with the blogging friends I’ve made over the course of the last few years.

I was also excited to hear Clorox was a sponsor of this year’s BlogHer.  I was able to stop by the booth and get the exclusive scoop on what they had going on – although I was already a fan and keep Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes in every room.  New to me at the Clorox booth was information on Clorox’s Power A Bright Future Program, which is an amazing back-to-school K-12 grant program. In the fourth year, Clorox will award six $25,000 grants and one grand prize $50,000 grant to help fund important new and existing programs that promote educational development in schools. The Program launches today and you can nominate your K-12 school program to win one of these grants.  Can you imagine having your child’s school win one of these?  Amazing, right?

Once you nominate your school program for the chance to win a grant, you can also find more information from Clorox to help keep your kids healthier and help prevent the spread of germs and viruses.  Simply visit Clorox Classrooms to learn how to help keep classrooms clean and germ-free.  You can also learn how to donate a canister of Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes to your child’s classroom and be rewarded with a $1 coupon for additional Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes, while supplies last.

And in the meantime, start thinking about who you want to nominate for this year’s Power a Bright Future Program!
