Some of my favorite things include dressing up, getting together with friends and chatting about one of my most-loved topics – fashion. So what do you get when you bring all those things together? The Fashion Forward Conference – an event in NYC that brought together some new and old blog friends to learn about this season’s hot trends and how to make them attainable for moms.

The event was a stylish day in New York that featured information panels on fashion from editors and bloggers, style tips from experts and fashion shows. It was such a memorable event! After all, my mission at MomTrends is to stay on top of trends and share them with my readers.

One of the hottest trends this season? Patterned jeans! If you had a chance to sneak in some shopping for yourself during the back-to-school season, you probably saw them in all the stores with polka dots, floral patterns and animal prints. Fall is the perfect time to embrace this trend, and you can even make them yourself with a Clorox® Bleach Pen® Gel. Pair patterned jeans with a t-shirt, blazer and heels for date night, or zip up your boots and pair with a long sleeve shirt and vest for running errands.
