Tiffany, Clorox

Hi! I'm Tiffany. When I'm not chasing my son around for diaper changes, convincing my daughter not to wear goggles to bed, or trying to get unidentified stains out of my kids' clothes, I work in the marketing department at Clorox.

Day 2: Tackle The Nasty Dish Drying Tray

This nasty tray of funk is my kitchen dish rack. Yes, I am not too proud to show you this. After you’ve taken a few moments to lose respect for me, let me say that this is probably the moldiest spot in my whole house. (Err, OK, the moldiest spot in my kitchen ... err, ok in my whole sink area … )

To bust away this funk, I filled the sink with a gallon of water, added ¾ cup of Clorox® Regular Bleach and then let the dish rack tray sit there for about 5 minutes.  And voila!  The pink mold disappeared from the drying rack tray, and it was disinfected to boot!

Victory in 5 minutes?  I’m feeling pretty good.  Let’s see what Day #3 holds …

Don’t forget to leave a comment below during this week-long challenge.  One lucky commenter will be randomly selected to win a $100 Visa Gift card!  (Maybe you’ll see victory for 5 minutes of your time too!)

laying a towel out between the basket and base and removing when dishes are put up cuts down on the stained base. Also wiping with bleach once a week helps keep it controlled. Before I started using the towel and wiping with bleach I used to have to change out the base pretty frequently.
