Hi! I'm Tiffany. When I'm not chasing my son around for diaper changes, convincing my daughter not to wear goggles to bed, or trying to get unidentified stains out of my kids' clothes, I work in the marketing department at Clorox.

Top 10 Things To Do with 3 Extra Minutes

Call your mom. Make a sandwich. Go to the bathroom. Ah, the joy of 3 extra minutes!

I recently posted a blog about “How to Save 3 Extra Minutes”, inspired by a Clorox partnership with Karen Kaufman Orloff to create an e-book with time-saving tips inspired by moms called … If Mom Had Three Minutes.

The post got a few of us moms in the Clorox offices talking about what we would do with 3 extra minutes. It’s not nearly enough time to get a massage (unless getting crawled all over by your toddler while you’re asleep counts) but clearly, these time-starved moms had plenty of ideas for making the most out of their time.

Here are our top 10 things we would do with 3 extra minutes:

10. Take a 3-minute power nap. (Trust me, it can happen. Often unintentionally.)

9. Finish putting on my make-up from this morning (apparently, rockin’ the “one eye’d mascara” look is harder than it seems).

8. Make a date night happen:  book the sitter, make that reservation — Stat!

7. Wipe down the counters and “hot spots.”

6. Plan tonight’s menu (or truthfully, call in my take-out delivery order).

5. Shower. Actually do the “repeat” in the “Lather. Rinse. Repeat.”

4. Read a magazine article – the trashier, the better.

3. Keep a journal and jot down a memory from the day.

2. Down a glass of wine.

1. Hug my child just a *little* longer before sending him off to school.

What would you do with 3 extra minutes? Leave your comment here or on this post.
